2020 - TOL Mystery SAL

THREADS OF LIFE (TOL) 2020 MYSTERY STITCH-A-LONG

 A mystery band sampler in 11 parts. 

TOL is a stitching group I have been part of for about 20 years and we are all re-kindling friendships this year.

Starting January 20 each mystery portion will be published on this blog.  October's section should be a bonus Christmas Ornament, with the last section published 20 November with the intent this simple sampler of at least 20 bands and some motifs could be finished in time for Christmas.

The sampler has been charted and is 100 stitches wide by 310 stitches long.
It can be stitched on either Aida or Evenweave.  
You chose your fabric - 
14 count aida = 28 count evenweave
16 count aida = 32 count evenweave

Choose 2 contrasting threads.  If desired, this can also be stitched with one colour floss, but I have charted this for two colours.
You will need 2 skeins of each colour, with plenty left over.
I'm possibly looking at using 2 variegated floss for my model, but I've yet to decide on my own fabric.

edit:   I've added beads to my design, but you can stitch either colonial or french knots in their place
