Once I have a start - I will also record my progress here.

12 January - No progress to report.  I have the chart, but am still waiting to select the fabric (waiting on teenage son to extract the tub of evenweave from the storage in his room).  Once the fabric is decided, I'll look more into what floss I intend to use.  I have an idea, it may be a GAST floss, but will depend upon sourcing 14 more skeins at a reasonable price.
(or I'll give up and get 16 skeins of a DMC)

12 January - Update on the update - I gave up and have picked DMC - will use 2 strands, one strand of each 3808 & 3814.  Looking now through my stash for the right size linen.

1 Feb - am undecided.  The white 30count evenweave in my stash - the only fabric I have big enough to stitch Harriet (she is huge at 414 stitches square) just does not feel right when stitched.  I've tried 1 strand over one and 2 strands over 2.  I'm contemplating changing out the fabric before I go too far.

31 March - Finally a start - now that I've found some fabric (32 count marbled Murano) I'm stitching over one using the floss I decided on.  One evening stitching = the letter "A"
